another band survey.

It's like middle school and myspace all over again.
This is an alternate version of the one I did like this before.

Pick 7 artists that you love before reading the questions.

1. Black Tide
2. Emilie Autumn
3. Avenged Sevenfold
4. Queensryche
5. Wednesday 13
6. Halestorm
7. Porcelain Black

1. What was the first song you ever heard by 1?

-Shockwave. Their First Single. (technically, I saw them live for the first time before I even knew who they were. I've been a fan since that day. But I don't remember the order of their set list from that tour. Way back when, in 2007. I was 15.)

2. What is your favorite song of 7?

- "Who's Next?"

3. What kind of impact has 1 left on your life?

- They've been my favorite band since that day I first saw them. (I went to that show for Avenged Sevenfold, who are still a fave, but that day I left with a new fave.) They are one of the many reasons why I chose my dream career as a sound engineer. (Not the whole reason, my love and ear for music in general is the main factor.) But I would love a chance to work with them someday, and if I do become a successful sound engineer, that just may happen someday.

4. What are your favorite lyrics of 5?

-
"And a voice, it whispers, "Hello my love"

Haunt me, haunt me like you used to
Won't you scare me, oh
Haunt me, haunt me like you used to
I love you best when you scare me to death."

5. How many times have you seen 4 live?

-Once. on their 30 year anniversary tour this past year, 2011.
Great show it was.

6. What is your favorite song by 6?

-"Innocence"

7. Is there any song by 3 that makes you sad?

- many. back in the day, it was "Clairvoyant Disease" that made me cry. Now it's "Fiction" that makes me cry the most. I also cried when they played "Afterlife" on the 2011 Uproar tour, in honor of the Rev.
And those are just a few of their songs that I have cried while listening to.

8. What is your favorite song by 2?

- oh man. hard to choose, "Face The Wall" is my favorite instrumental.
But I think I'm gonna say that "Castle down" probably is my favorite song. But it's a close call. I love her music.

9. When did you first get into 5?

- In 8th grade, when a friend showed me Murderdolls, which is one of many bands he's been in. I went home and looked him up, and now i have most of his albums, at least when it comes to his solo albums and Murderdolls albums.

10. How did you get into 3?

- The Same friend who showed me Murderdolls showed me their Waking The Fallen album. (this was the year before City of Evil was released. So Waking The Fallen was their newest album at that time.)
When City Of Evil was released, it renewed my love for them, and they have been a fave since.

11. What is your favorite song by 4?

- "The Needle Lies", "I Don't Believe in Love" and "Damaged"

12. What is a good memory concerning 2?

- When my friend Nix and I made new friends with two people who were then complete strangers the time we went to see her on her last tour, also last year.

13. Is there a song by 2 that makes you sad?

- Yes. I'm very emotional drawn into music, "What If", "Across the Sky", "Castle Down" and "face The Wall" make me cry.
(and face the wall is an instrumental, as I said above. But I have cried while listening to it, I'm THAT emotionally drawn into music.)

14. What is your favorite song of 3?

- Right now "Night ready to Die", "Girl I know" and "Fiction" are my top faves by them.

15.Which song isn’t your favorite by 7?

- Probably "Transparent" from when her project was called Porcelain and the Tramps.
