Chapter 1

Episode 1

"Does it seem quieter without Josh here?" I asked, looking up.

"It's peaceful," Kurt said. "I like it."

I rolled my eyes, smiling and sitting up from my upside down position. "Well, I gotta head into town for groceries," I said, getting up. "If any of the guys or Annabeth comes over, tell them there's triple chocolate chip cookies in kitchen."

"Okay. See you later."

I walked out the door and half way to the store, I tripped over a little white box. "Uwah!" I picked myself up off of the ground and looked at it. "Strange... I didn't see that before..." I looked around to see if anyone had dropped it, but no one was around. So I carefully picked it up and started walking back home.

As I walked in the door I saw that everyone had come into the house. "Oh, hey guys," I smiled at everyone as I stood in front of Emile who was sitting on the chesterfield. "Dude. Get up. That's my spot."

"Why do you like this spot?"

"Well you see, my living room was set up to match Sheldon and Leonard's from The Big Bang Theory. In the winter that seat is close enough to the radiator to remain warm and yet not so close as to cause perspiration. In the summer it's directly in the path of a cross breeze created by opening windows there and there," I pointed to the windows. "It faces the television at an angle that is neither direct, thus discouraging conversation, nor so far wide as to create a parallax distortion." I stood there waiting expectantly for him to get up.

"... Okay... One, it's amazing you remembered that whole thing. Two, I don't wanna get up! Why can't you just sit somewhere else?!"

I rolled my eyes. "No. I can't. I told you," I took a breath. "In the winter that seat is close enough to the radiator to remain warm and yet not so-"

"We get it! We get it!" Jon said. "What's the box for? Kurt said you were getting food."

"Box...?" Then I remembered I was holding the box. "Oh! I tripped over it on my way to the grocery store. I thought I'd bring it back to y'all and see what it is." I stayed standing, waiting for Emile to get up.

"Get up."

"No. I don't wanna."

I sighed. "Fine. I'll open it while standing, then," I took the box in both hands, inspected it, then started trying to pry it open. "Urgh!"

Annabeth walked up beside me. "You want me to-"

"I can do it!"

"Okay..." She seemed doubtful.

After a while, I did give it to her. I glowered as she got it open with ease.

"What are these-" Seven glowing balls of light flew out of the box and swirled around the room.

"Wha...?" I watched as they circled the ceiling and came together in an explosion of white light. "Gah!" I sheilded my eyes from it before I could be blinded. When I thought it was over I put my hands down and looked around. No one was hurt and nothing was amiss. "What was that...?"

"I don't know..." Annabeth said, looking around. "Is everyone okay?"

Everyone nodded. I sighed, still unnerved that Annabeth was stronger than me. I couldn't even open the stupid box!

"Well... Emile, we should get going," Annabeth said, turning to him. "Emile! Get your lazy butt off the couch! We have... Things we gotta do."

Jon scoffed and rolled his eyes, smiling. "Yeah. 'Things'." I giggled as Annabeth dragged Emile out.

Kurt came in from the back and stopped when he saw me. "Where's the groceries?"

"Oh right!" I started running out the door, tripping on my way out. "Woah!"

"Be careful, Ri. Geez, you're gonna kill yourself one day."

I laughed half-heartedly as I walked out. I felt alone as I walked to the store. Everyone around me had something I wanted. I was so... Envious...

Once I finally got the groceries and headed home, I heard yelling and crashes in my house. "Huh...?" i hurried my pace and got inside just as my lamp hit the door frame. "Gah!" I jumped a little, dropping the bags. Right in front of me was whatI thought I'd never see. Kurt and Jon were having an all out brawl. "Guys?!" I tried to get them to stop. I yelled at them at the top of my lungs. They wouldn't listen, wouldn't even aknowledge me.

I gave up, knowing I couldn't do anything and called Annabeth. "Annabeth! I- Woah!" I ducked as a spatula went whizzing past my head. "GET OVER HERE!" I hung up the phone and waited.

She was there half an hour later, and they were still ripping my house apart. "What took you so long?!"

"I had a hard time getting this guy up." She said, pointing behind her. I leaned sideways and looked at the ground. Emile was laying there.

"Uh... I don't think it worked..."

"Huh..." She looked behind her. "Emile!!!"

"Uhm..." I tapped her shoulder. "If you don't mind could you take care of those two?" I pointed behind me.

"Wha... What are they...?!" She marched past me and got right between them, stopping both immediately. "Stop!" She pushed them both to the ground and put her hands on her hips. "What were you two doing?!"

Jon pointed at Kurt and frowned. "He was being covetous!"

"He was being an a_$!"

Annabeth put her face in her hand, shaking her head. "You two are acting like kids," She sighed. "Especially you Kurt. You've never gotten into a fight since you've been here."

"Ever since those little things of light burst..."

Annabeth thought for a moment. "There were seven of them, right...?" I nodded. It looked like little miss perfect had an idea. Again. She ran to my computer/game room and started typing like mad in google. "Covatous means greedy... That's a tad bit out of character for Kurt... Jon's being a bit more angry than usual."

I leaned on the doorway and watched her go, muttering to myself. "Oh sure, our great leader has it all figured out. She doesn't need help from anyone else."

"Emile's being lazier than usual too... Sloth-like, you could say." I rolled my eyes.

"What are you getting at-?!" I'd almost called her 'Miss Perfect'...

"Sloth, wrath, and greed are three of the seven deadly sins. There were seven of those balls," She opened a page all about the seven deadly sins. "what if they were the seven deadly sins? What if they'd infected us?"

"That'd make sense... But why only them?"

"Maybe... Maybe I'm immune!"

I rolled my eyes. "Of course, little miss perfect has another power."

She sighed. "Guess you got envy, then."

I glowered at her. "Then who got lust, gluttony, and pride if you know it all." I sneered.

Ignoring my sneer, she rested her head on her hands. "I don't know... Let's go find Tim. Maybe he-"

"HEY! GET THE HE|L AWAY THAT'S MY COOKIE!" We both sighed. Jon definitely was wrath.

"I helped Rikki make these, so I should have more." Kurt though... He was so out of character...

"AND WHY AREN'T YOU SAYING ANYTHING TO TIM?!" We looked at each other. Tim was here already?

"He's gonna give me back all those cookies too!" We went out there before things got any worse than it sounded like. I stopped in the door way as Annabeth rushed in to seperate kurt and Jon again.

I sighed. "Yeah... I think we found gluttony..." Tim was stuffing his face with the cookies. "I thought you were on the fast track to being healthy."

"You can... In- ... Indulge once... Once in a while..." He said between each bite.

"Tim!" Annabeth said.

I quietly went and leaned in the corner. "I still don't get why you didn't get anything."

"I told you! Maybe I'm immune..." She looked around. "We need to find lust and pride and bring them here... We also need to put these three in seperate rooms."

"Taking charge as usual, huh?" I pushed myself gently from the wall and glared at her.

"We don't have time for this, Rikki! Lust isn't exactly a sin that should be let out in public!"

"And why not?" I batted my eyelashes, grinning. Then I frowned. What was that?

"Uh... Okay... Let's just go find lust and pride..." She started walking out.

"I think I should stay here and... Watch the guys."

She shrugged. "Suit yourself. I can do this alone." My head started hurting as soon as she got out the door. I fell to my hands and knees, grimacing. Ember wanted to take over.

Another over-powered girl. Even in my own body, I was the weak one. I thought I might as well. She'd probably be of more use, anyways. I closed my eyes and let her take over.

I stood up and looked around. "Well this place hasn't gotten any better since I last came to visit," Then I looked at the boys sitting in a row at the table and smiled. "Well, hello boys~!" I said seductively and walked over, sitting on Kurt's lap. "How've you been, cutie?"

I waved my hands dismissively to Jon, still looking at Kurt. "You'll get your turn, pretty boy."

Annabeth POV
later that evening

A failure. That was what I was right now. I thought I had at least Lust figured out! It'd most likely be a girl. So I went to every girl in Hyrule and MK. Nothing. I thought I had figured it out! I groaned in frustration as I walked into Rikki's house. "guys! I didn't find Lust OR Pr-" I stopped short at the kitchen doorway. What I saw was pure chaos. Jon was throwing things around. Tim had his head stuck in a fridge. That was all fine and dandy...

But then there was Rikki and Kurt. She was all over him. It was kind of disturbing.

"RIKKI!" I yelled.

"Huh...?" She looked up lazily at me. "You really think she'd be this daring?"

"... Ember?"

"You got it right, honey. Now if you don't mind. We were kind of-"

"No! You are NOT doing that in Rikki's kitchen! Or even in her household!"

She sighed and stood up, looking at me indifferently. "You really think I haven't been observing what's been happening? The seven deadly sins? You didn't find Lust or Pride, did you?"

"How did you...?" I narrowed my eyes at her. She held up her hands as if saying 'ta-da' and smirked.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm Lust."

"Uh..." Now that i think about it... It makes sense. But... "If you know that, then where's Pride?!" She just smiled and shook her head, crossing her arms. "What?!"

"Oh, is little miss perfect getting angry that she can't figure this out herself?" She chuckled, only making me angrier. "I'd think it be obvious. What with you prancing around all heroic all of a sudden. 'I can do it by myself'... Weren't you always a team player?" My eyes widened. "There ya go. Finally piecing it together. You couldn't have done it without me, could you? Your pride was in the way. Too proud to notice there was something wrong with you."

"I-I though I was immune!"

"That's pride, honey."

"Well... If you know so much, how do we get rid of it?"

She shrugged, ducking easily as a butchers knife whizzed above her head. "I'm just the embodiment of Lust," She smirked. "I do things for... Favours," Ember started walking towards me. "And I don't think you roll that way, honey. Seeing as your," She chuckled. "Boyfriend is still lying outside... But if you wanna experiment..." Getting too close for comfort she whispered. "I don't mind."

"Gah!" I pushed her away. "I'll find this out myself!" I quickly walked to the computer room before she could try anything again.

"What time is it...?" I glanced at the time. "Midnight... Hm... I should get Emile inside..." I sighed. "I'm so close to the answer though! I know I can get it! I'll probably be done in a minute. I'll get him then!"

3 am

"Just a little longer..." I felt a tap on my shoulder. "What?!" I snapped. Not looking back. I was SO close to ffinding an answer.

"Uh..." It was Mariam, the cameraman. "The day's over... We should wrap up-"

"Later. I'm so close!"

4 am

"Are you sure we can't just-"

"GOT IT!" I said, holding up the paper I printed high up in the air.

"Oh, okay."

I ran out, seperating Ember from the guys, waking them up, and sitting everyone down in the living room. "It took a while-"

"Chyah," Ember rolled her eyes. "I'll say."

I gave her a dirty look. "Anyways. I have the solution... But we'll need a little help."

"And what kind of help would that be, honey?"

"Don't call me that."

She shrugged. "And what kind of help would that be?"

"We need the assistance of a certain fairy-loving brit I know..."

"What the bloody hell are you doing here?"

"Hey, we were just wondering-" Before I could finish my sentence, Ember was all over Iggy.

"You know, I like a guy with an accent."

He chuckled nervously. "Oh really...?"

I put my face in my hands and shook my head. Sighing, I put a hand on my hips and look at them. "Easy there, Ember."

"Ember...?" Iggy looked utterly cofused as he made an attempt to fend her off. It didn't look like he was trying too hard though.

"Long story," I shook my head. "We came here because we need your help."

We were all sitting in his living room, Ember still flirting shamelessly with him. I'd explained both Ember and the box of sin to him before our hot chocolate got cold.

"I see..." He looked at the box on the table, hand on his chin. "And how am I going to help, again?"

"We needed someone who knows a lot about magic. I immediately thought of you."

"Okay... Please stop trying to unbutton my shirt. I'd like to keep my clothes on, thank you."

"Aw, you're no fun."

He and I both shook our heads. "Anyways, you think you can help us?"

"It's possible," He held out his hand. "Here, give me the paper with the procedure on it again," He waved his hand briefly at Ember, who was nibbling at his ear and took the paper. Studying it, his nose scrunched up a bit. "I think I can do this.At least I have the right ingredients. Let's head outside. It may get messy." So we all headed out, Ember attached to Iggy's side.

8 am

Iggy wiped sweat from his forhead and sighed. "Done. Now everyone drink this." He gave a cup to everyone. We'd carried Emile here. Well Jon dragged him.

"Wait..." I counted the cups. "There are seven cups, but six of us."

"One serving per sin, right?" He pointed at Ember. "Rikki- Ember- She... Uh... They. They get two cups. One for Lust, one for Envy."

"This smells disgusting, Iggy..." Ember pouted. "Couldn't I stay like this the rest of my life?" She grinned, putting her cup down and crawling over to him. "You wouldn't mind," She purred into his ear. His face immediately reddened. "See." I pulled her back and rolled my eyes.

"And what becomes of Rikki?"

"She doesn't have to come out if she doesn't want to."

"You're drinking it."

"What're you gonna do if I don't?" She smirked.

"I'll force it down your throat."

"And how will you do that?"

I sighed and crawled over to Iggy. I cupped my hand over the space between his ear and my mouth and whispered. "You don't mind if you... You know... Provoke her?"

He sighed, holding back a smile. "If it must be done."

I sat back, and rolled my eyes. "You sound so hesitant."

Ignoring me, he looked at Ember. "If you want, you can drink it from my mouth."

"Oh," She smiled. "Now we're talking."

After that whole ordeal was over, and she gladly consumed the whole drink, we all did. Immediately afterwards, we all barfed. Even Ember.

"God, what was in that?!" I said between choking.

"I told you it would get messy. The herbs put in there are so when you puke up the drink, the sin goes with it," He grabbed a pair of tongs and picked up the little balls of light, carefully placing them back in the box. "It's a japanese drink that's supposed to ward off evil. Kiku told me about it not too long ago."

Rikki POV

Let me take over, I said to Ember. I want this out of me.

And if I don't let you take over? She purred, toying with me.

I forced my way. I'm not in the mood, Ember. She hands on her forhead. I finally got my way and I was in control again. I sighed. "I wish I could've done that before... I'm so weak."

"You're not weak, love," Iggy put a hand on my back and offered the drink. "Forcing your way back is proof. Now drink this. You'll feel much better," I nodded and took the drink in my hands. Gingerly I held it to my lips, just to spew what little of it I drank on the ground. "Now, now. You have to drink all of it, or it won't work," I shook my head. "Please, love."

I sighed, shaking my head. "There's nothing you can do to make me."

"If you do it," Annabeth said, wiping puke from her mouth. "You'll be brave, like us. Isn't that what you want, Rikki? To be brave? To be useful? You can't be useful in this state of mind."

There she goes. Saying the right thing again. I shook my head, closed my eyes tight and chugged the whole thing down. Immediately my insides started to boil and I hurled everything up. I looked up, feeling a wave of relief wash over me.

"God, is Envy in FMA that whiney?" Everyone laughed and I frowned. "I'm serious! Didn't y'all hear me?! Every second sentence was me complaining that I couldn't do something!"

Iggy started wiping my mouth, stopping my talking. "We all heard you, love. Well, they did. I was stuck with Ember."

I pushed his hand away. "Yeah, and from what I saw, you weren't complaining either," He twitched. I smirked, happy that I found a weak point of his. I saw movement out of the corner of my eye and turned to see the camera man coming over. "What is it, Mariam?" I asked.

"It's been a day. We should really end the episode..." I nodded and looked at Annabeth. She stood up.

"Wow guys! What a start to a new season, huh?" She picked up the box. "This thing'll be locked up in our archivevs for a while... And probably never gonna come out," She smiled. "See you all next time on Press Start To LP!"

I jumped up and held up a thumb and two fingers, winking at the camera. "Season three~!"
