Falling for a Farmboy

Rich, Spoiled Jenna Mace is forced to go to her aunt's farm in small town Charmbrooke for the Summer. While she is there, she meets the really hot Luke Woods. Jenna tries to convince herself that she can't fall in love with Charmbrooke, with Luke.

Chapter 1

I am always excited at the start of summer. This year we are going to the Caribbeans. We went a few years ago for spring break. It was so much fun. I can't wait to go again! I'm in the middle of packing for the trip, right now. My fancy camera to take pictures of the beach with and an inflatable beach ball (deflated of course!) are both tossed into one of my Gucci suitcases.

I am interrupted by someone knocking on my bedroom door. It's my mom. She looks almost exactly like I do, skinny with blonde hair, blue eyes, and freckles.

"Hey, Jenna. There's been a change of plans. You aren't coming to the Caribbeans with us." She says with an apologetic expression on her face.

"What!?" I shout furiously. "Where am I going?"

"You're Aunt Sara's farm in Stormbrooke." She replies.

"What?" I'm confused.

"Sara is my sister. Stormbrooke is my hometown. It's in Oklahoma. You leave tomorrow, so finish packing. And who knows. You might even want to stay, so if you want, then we will move over there." With that, she left.

I can't believe that she is sending me to a farm! With animals! Ewww!

I pull the camera out of my suitcase. There's no use for that. What would I even take pictures of? Cows? No! That's stupid. Just like Stormbrooke. What kind of a name is that, anyway? I replace the camera with a bottle of hand sanitizer. I'm going to need it. Animals have germs.

No beach, so that means no beach ball. I replace it with some more of my designer clothes, and then Delilah, my maid comes in and helps me finish packing.

NEXT DAY~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I glare at my parents as I get on the plane. I arrive at an airport soon. I search for my aunt. There a lady with curly blond hair, and grey eyes. She is holding a sign with my name on it, so I'm pretty sure that's her.

I walked up to her. "I'm Jenna Mace. You must be Aunt Sara." I said with a fake smile plastered on my face.

"Just call me Sara. Oh! You look exactly like you're mother!" She says in an optimistic tone of voice. She is obviously more excited of my being here than I am.

During the hour long drive to Stormbrooke, because it's too small for them to have there own airport, she talks about my cousins. There's the twins, Megan and Olivia. They are thirteen. Johnny is fifteen, and Savanna is seventeen, like me. She keeps talking, but I zone out and stare at the millions of fields outside the car window.

After what seems like hours of Sara droning on and on in her southern accent, we arrive at a blue farmhouse. It looks way smaller than what I'm used to. It's only two stories. Way smaller than our mansion back home. I am greeted by a group of about six people who lead me to the living room. They each tell me there names.

Megan and Olivia look almost exactly alike with grey eyes and brown hair, except Megan's hair is a lighter shade of brown. Johnny has blond hair and poop brown eyes. Savanna, who goes by Savvy, also has blond hair, but her eyes are more the shade of dirt. The other person is my Uncle Tim. I must have been zoned out while Sara talked about him. His hair is mostly gray, but I still see bits of brown, and his eyes are grey.

There is a knock on the door. I bite my lip so that my jaw does not drop. There is a hot guy standing there. Shirtless! He has gorgeous abs, curly brown hair, green eyes, and a smile like a model. I'd know. I've dated a couple.

"Hi Luke!" Uncle Tim says. He hands him a gardening hose. "Thanks for letting us borrow it! Our new one comes in tomorrow. Oh! And while you're here, why don't you meet my niece. Luke, this is Jenna."

His smile deepens. "Hi, Jenna! I'm Luke Woods."

"Nice to meet you." I say, and the plastered on smile becomes real for a second, but then I remind myself that I can't. I don't want to end up falling in love with a place like Stormbrooke or a guy like Luke, because then I might want to stay.
