A Homeless Heart

A Homeless Heart

Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, it's at the end of your arm, as you get older, remember you have another hand: The first is to help yourself, the second is to help others. ~ Audrey Hepburn (a word from the rich).

Chapter 1

We want what we do not need. We let go of what we need the most because we believe that we will find better. We spend hours reliving our regrets. And, we are quick to leave behind what makes us the happiest. We are complicated creatures, but we are beautiful; every life, every emotion, every size, every color and every shape. Our lives are not simple and our workload isn't light. We are not perfect yet we are made perfect through our imperfections. We are humans. We are all different but through our differences we are the same. We are a strange breed yet we are still beautiful; every flaw, every imperfection, every mistake.

We are not all good, but we are not all bad. We are trying. We are healing. Just one drop of water can start a ripple effect. It only takes one, and that one is me.
