My Mission Statement

Chapter 1

Here it is

I have to read this book for Career Exploration called "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens." by Sean Covey. I am now on Habit 4, but what I read in Habit 2 inspired me to do this. In that habit, they talked about mission statements that people live by. Each statement is different for each person, some are short, others are long. Some are in shapes of poems, songs, stories, flow charts, pictures and more. It's your choice because it's your mission statement.

I will always be kind
so I don't leave others blind.
I won't stop at closed doors
and will never cause wars.
I will have an open heart
so I can give the world a part.
I will be there to give a hand
even if I am the last to stand.
I won't back away
especially if you need me to stay.
I will be here to help you out
when you are in your deepest doubt.

So obviously, my mission statement is in a form of a poem, but like I stated before, it doesn't have to be. It can be anything that you can think of that describes your values in life. For me, this is the outline and blue print I want of a life I want to succeed in and realize that I did just minutes before it's time for me to die. I want to be the girl that after I'm dead, people will say, "Yeah that Amber? She was always kind and I'm thankful for that." So this is my mission statement and I'm going to do all I can to hold true to this.

Feel free to repost this with your own mission statement if you thought it was cool. If not, sorry for wasting your time, but I hope you enjoyed.
