You're My Favorite Explosion (A PTV Fan Fiction)

This is my Pierce the Veil Fan Fiction. I obviously don't own Pierce the Veil. Even though I'd like to. What?

Chapter 1

"Burst into flames, scream in the dark! I'm gonna light up this place and die in beautiful stars!"

Vic's POV
I took a deep breath and re-positioned the hat on my head. We were about to go on and play at our sold-out venue. Mayday Parade and All Time Low had already gone, and Sleeping with Sirens was on right now. I wasn't nervous, we'd done this millions of times, I was just excited. The rush of a concert was like none other. Eventually you just got so into the music you ignored everything else. Your fingers played for you, your voice flowed without consent, and it was amazing. I jumped up and down in place and prepared to go on. I felt a hand clap on my back and turned to see Jaime, the bassist to our band, standing there with a smile. He was just as excited as I was and was just waiting for the signal.

Finally, after what had seemed like an eternity, the lady standing with a clip board pointed at the stage and said, "You're on!" in a loud, whisper.
I ran out onto stage and heard the crowd erupt in screams. That was the best part. Seeing the fans screaming and lunge forward dying to get closer to us. Kellin, Jack, Gabe, Jesse and Justin ran past us, and on Kellin's way by he fist-bumped me.

"How're you guy's doing tonight?" I said in the mic. Shrill screams responded. "Awesome... We're going to start with one of my favorites, 'Hell Above.'" More screams. I couldn't help but smile as I prepared for the beginning scream. Not that it would matter if my voice cracked before the scream would finish. I'd seen it a million times. The fans don't care. They know you have talent, they're just glad your there. That's all you could really want in this business.

Lucie's POV

I pulled a strand of my newly blue hair out of my eyes and screamed with my best friend, Jack. She shook out her own blonde hair and jumped around. I rolled my eyes, but soon found myself joining her and jumping too. We were lucky enough to elbow our way to the front, but were soon regretting it when the band poured out on stage, as our internal organs were being smashed against the gate.

Vic spoke a few words, but soon started up one of my favorite songs of theirs, 'Hell Above'. The crowd screamed and sang the words of the song. Heads bobbed, fists pumped, and bodies jumped to the beat of the music. Everyone was having the time of their lives, forgetting their pasts, ignoring their pain, just enjoying.

As the concert progressed, you could see the music taking over the band. Soon their brains went on auto pilot and made their bodies act for them. Vic jumped down from the stage and ran up to the barricade, right in front of me. He half-jumped, and was half-lifted by a big, black security guard behind him.

He was singing 'Bestios' and was touching hands with every hand that shot up. Mine was soon to be touched. He looked down and made eye-contact by everyone's hand he touched. I looked up at him and couldn't help but smile. Finally, he looked at me. His voice hesitated on the next words, but I ignored it. I was busy marveling at the face he held on to my hand.

"I told myself I'm tired of holding up your backup plans.
Go down your list and be satisfied it's all you have.
And until that day,
I'll steal you flowers from the cemetery, red roses.
Red rose of the dead.
How does it feel to breathe oxygen inside her head?" Once he hit the last word he let go of my hand and ran back up to the stage, the crowd singing for him.

"So say it, say I'm in love, cause you called me
crying from your job, said you just got fired." Then he picked it up and we all sang together.

"And you don't have a backup plan,
so don't expect me to understand."

Everyone kept pushing harder and harder to get to the stage, and I was getting crushed more and more. After 'Hold on 'Til May', Vic spoke again.

"Hey guys, I think you can handle not having the gates." The security guards pushed the barrier away, and that's when the stampede began.

Vic's POV

The barrier came down, and it was like a tidal wave. A wave with fans as it's water drops. Everyone pushed forward, and came crashing up to the stage. Tony, Jaime, and I all instinctively took a step back. Hands smacked the stage hungry for a touch of one of us.

"Okay we're going to go an acoustic song next." Screams in reply. "What do you guys think of 'She Makes Dirty Words Sound Pretty'" More screams. A stage hand brought me an acoustic and a stool, which I then brought dangerously close to the fans. More importantly, though, closer to the girl.

She was beautiful. Her blue hair hung in loose curls around her shoulders. Her eyes were almost as blue as her hair. She had a freckle under her right eye, and angel bites. She was ghost white, and the darkest thing on her was her black eyeliner that lined the bottom as well as the top lids and made her blue eyes even brighter. She took my breath away and made me almost forget the words.

If this girl doesn't have a meet and greet pass, I don't know what I'll do. I sat down on the stool and started the song.

"If you call me at all
Don't tell me that I'm ordinary
Cause I won't be passing you, please don't leave
And if you tell me you're listening to everything you read

Turn off this light, call my name
Don't talk, just ride
Who wouldn't let you be all about,
About me
I'm only trying to work this out," I looked at her and our eyes locked. Quickly, I looked over at the rest of the fans. They had stopped screaming, it was quiet. Just the guitar and my voice.

"So, if you call me at all
Don't tell me that I'm ordinary
Cause I won't be passing you, please don't leave.
And if you tell me you're listening to everything you read
If you call me at all." The crowd was still silent, they had began to sway along to the music. Tears formed in one girls eyes.

"Oh, I hear you breathing on the line
Oh baby girl, I'm not your type
I'll leave you hurting every night
So I won't be coming back
Who wouldn't let me be all alone
Who wouldn't let me be all alone
Who wouldn't let you scream ohh to a soft pillow." Next was my favorite part.

"I'm such an animal
And baby honestly these teeth won't let you go."

"Don't tell me that I'm ordinary
Cause I won't be passing you, please don't leave
And if you tell me you're listening to everything you read
If you call me at all
Don't tell me that I'm ordinary
Cause I won't be passing you, please don't leave
And if you tell me you're listening to everything you read
If you call me at all
If you call me at all
If you call me at all
If you call me at all
If you call me at all." That was it. The crowd erupted like a volcano of screams. I stood from the stand and switched the acoustic out for my usual guitar with the green lightening strikes. This was defiantly the best concert yet, and there was still one more song.

"Alright I'm going to get a friend out for this next song," the crowd got even louder. "Kellin?" Kellin ran out onto the stage and everyone went nuts.

"Hey guys," he said calmly.

The beginning notes of the song started. And I let myself ease back into the trance of the music.

"Dare me to jump off this Jersey bridge?"

"I bet you never had a Friday night like this!"

"Keep it up, keep it up, let's raise our hands."

"I take a look up at the sky and I see red!"

"Red for the cancer, red for the wealthy! Red for the drink that's mixed with suicide!"

"Everything red!"

Here was Kellin's part. My eyes kept moving over onto that girl.

Damn it, focus Vic.

"You told me think about it well I did, now I don't want to feel a thing anymore. I'm tired of begging for the things that I want, I'm over sleeping like a dog on the floor."

"The thing I think I love, will surely bring me pain. Intoxication paranoia and a lot of fame. Three cheers for throwing up, pubescent drama queen. You make me sick I make it worse by drinking late."

"Scream until there's nothing left! So sick of playing I don't want this anymore! The thought of you's no fvcking fun you want a martyr I'll be one, because enough's enough we're done."

"You told me think about it well I did," Kellin and I pointed our mics at the crowd and the sang the next line while we caught our breaths. It was an awesome song, one of my favorites, but it was exhausting.

Not to mention, it was all I could do not to look at her again.

Lucie's POV

This song was absolutely sick. Bodies flew over head, the crow surfers, everyone was going crazy. On the stage there was a party of it's own, Vic and Kellin were jumping like madmen. The whole effect was amazing, and slowly I found myself slipping into the daze. I forgot who I was with, and where I was. It was just me and the music. I could see the stage and the band. I jumped and shook my hips. My hands were up on the stage reaching for the band, fist pumping with the beat

Words cannot describe the feeling you get when you realize where you are. At some point, it hits you. You're standing in front of your heroes, your idols. They're singing the songs that got you through the best and worst of times, and the feeling is priceless.

I screamed the next lyrics along with the rest of the crowd with Kellin.

"Imagine living like a king someday, A single night without a ghost in the walls.
And if the bass shakes the earth underground," Vic joined the next line. "We'll start a new revolution," then they pointed the mics at us.

"NOW!" We all screeched at the top of our lungs, as loud as possible. The lights flickered around and we jumped in time with it.

"Alright here we go. Hail Mary, forgive me, blood for blood, hearts beating. Come at me, now this is war. Fvck with this new beat," Vic's voice was mesmerizing. I lost myself in it. I wasn't even jumping anymore. I just stood with my arms on the stage."NOW!"

"Terror begins inside a bloodless vein!"

"I was just a product of the street youth rage!"

"Born in this world without a voice or say!"

"Caught in the spokes with an abandoned brain!"

"I know you well but this ain't a game!"

"Blow the smoke in diamond shape!"

"Dying is a gift so, close your eyes and rest in peace!" Vic and Kellin's voices meshed together to sing the line then split again.

"You told me, "think about it", well I did
Now I don't wanna feel a thing anymore
I'm tired of begging for the things that I want
I'm over sleeping like a dog on the floor."

"Imagine living like a king someday.
A single night without a ghost in the walls.
We are the shadows screaming take us now!"

Jack noticed me standing still and punched my arm. I shook my head and rejoined the crowd's madness.

"We'd rather die than live to rust on the ground." I got ready for the last line and my favorite part.

"Alright guy's that's it for us! Goodnight everybody!" Vic tossed his mic to a stage hand and the rest of the band filed off the stage. I looked over at Jack and tried not to squeal like a little girl.

"You ready to meet your hero?" She asked.
