How I Invented Quibblo
This is the story of how I, Quibblo, invented Quibblo, and all of the struggles I had to go through to create it.
Chapter 1
An Idea
"Quibblo!" someone called. I turned, but no one was there. Pushing my glasses up on my nose, I continued walking down the street, pulling out my phone.
"Quibblo!" This time, I turned fast enough to see my best friend, Ron, duck behind a bush.
"Hey, Ron," I said, rolling my eyes. The rustle of the wind answered me. I sighed, continuing down the road, checking my phone. Facebook.
Only five notifications? I thought. I sometimes wished I had my own website, where I could have more notifications. That would be the day. Right as I began daydreaming about a website of my own--
"Boo!"
I jumped, dropping the phone. Two beady blue eyes and a mess of knotted brown hair smirked at me. I glared at Ron. "That was a new phone!" I yelped, snatching it back up. He tried to look apologetic.
"Gee, Quibblo," he said sulkily. "Didn't mean to get you all messed up about it." I shrugged after carefully checking the phone.
"It's fine," I said, though I really didn't know if it was. Ron smiled quickly.
"Good," he said. "Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to the new restaurant down the street."
"Hey," I responded, suppressing a smile. "You were the one who stopped me." Ron smiled back and bounded off down the street.
"Hey!" I called, suddenly remembering something. Ron turned. "You're still coming over tonight?" Ron rolled his eyes.
"Yes, yes," he said. "Want me to reinstall that game?"
"Nah," I responded, feeling awkward talking about computers to a computer whiz. "I can do it."
"Well, if you need my help..."
I smiled and shoved Ron along, making him stumble around the corner.
"Bye, Quibblo," he told me. I smiled.
"Bye, Qlockwork."
