Don't Look at Me

Just a poem!

Chapter 1

Please

Don't look at me.
I'm begging you.
This face is not for your enjoyment,
Body not beautiful
In the eyes of any beholder.
Too vunerable,
Under the layers of useless covering.
Naked none the less.
My stare cannot jump to meet yours,
No.
I stay fixated, glassy.
Empty holes. If I can't see you,
Can you see me?
Don't look at me.
Please.
Your gaze is just another burden,
On shoulders already broken by time.
Don't look at me, please.
I don't want another scar on my innocence,
A blemish on washed-out purity.
Please,
Don't look.
