Divergent Character Poems

Okay, time for round three! I just finished Allegiant so these are from the end of that, in chronological order. Tobias' poem is probably the best, just fyi. Comment and rate--feedback is always, always a good thing!

And spoilers. Those who haven't read it should probably clap their hands over their eyes and navigate blindly to another page.

Chapter 1

She Fires (Caleb Prior's Poem)

I kneel
I watch her walk away
Flash
Bang
Crash
She fires, I fire
Bullets passing so close I feel them
Strange is my sister
Dauntless in more ways than one
She hated me
I hated me
And then she changed her mind
I should be relieved
She pardoned me
Flash
Bang
Crash
She fires, I fire
Abnegation 'til the very end
No amount of blood or pain or time
Could change it
I watch her walk away
And I feel it again
Inescapable, consuming;
And I've just killed my sister;
The guilt
Flash
Bang
Crash
She fires, I fire
She does not deserve to die--
She was always better--
But I do
And if not here
He will kill me when he learns the truth
And if not him
The guilt will kill me
Because I know the truth
Flash
Bang
Crash
She fires, I fire
And I've just killed my sister
