(TWIST) Cinderella And The Snake Poem/Story
In this poem or story or whatever you want to call it, I am NOT saying that men are snakes or that true love doesn't exist. All I'm saying here is to look before you fall in love and to always pay attention. Even to the littlest things.
I wrote this 3 months ago when my ex basically did this to me but he did it twice. Read to the end and I will say what I mean.
11/11/15 Cinderella And The Snake
Cinderella spent all day getting ready.
She put on her yellow dress,
because yellow was always his favorite color.
She did her hair and makeup all nice.
She puts on her glass slippers.
The ones that her very own godmother gave to her.
The ones that brought them together.
She took one last look in the mirror,
As she nodded her head and smiled at what was looking back at her.
So, Cinderella dressed in yellow, went upstairs to see her fella.
She found him, sitting in his chair, with his back to her.
He was looking over the court yard.
Cinderella could tell that something was on his mind.
She knocked softly on the door frame.
He turned and smiled at her but Cinderella could see past that smile.
She knew that something was wrong. She could see it in his eyes.
But she ignored it and didn't want to ruin their night.
So she said to him, "Sorry, it took me so long to get ready."
He walked up to her and said, "Sweetheart you are worth the wait."
He kissed her and she howled out in pain.
As she pulled away, she looked up at the man, who she thought was the love of her life but he was really a snake in disguise.
She fell to floor as he walked out the door.
He had bitten her and poisoned her.
Cinderella dressed in yellow, went upstairs to kiss her fella.
By mistake she kissed a snake.
Now you could guess how many doctors it will take to get the poison out of her but what no doctor can fix is well, her broken heart.
To everyone who read this, thank you.
With my ex an I everything was fine, nothing was wrong but something was up with him but it was nothing big. He was changing. I choose to ignore the warning signs and he left without saying a word, blocking me from everything. I thought I did something wrong. Turns out he played me, cheated on me and didn't have the balls to tell me. To all that must know, I am better now. I yelled at him nonstop for a whole week, daring him to lose his cool and he walk out on me like he did before. He never did. I yelled at him that whole week until I was in a car accident and deiced I had better things to wasting my time on at that time he caved and we both walked away.
