Dear Survey Taker,

My name is Alexandra Walsh a student attending Hodges University graduate school of Business Management.
The attached survey is a part of my research project referencing Emotional Intelligence. Thank you for participating in the taking of this survey.

  13. 13

Schools sole mission is to prepare students intellectually not emotionally.

  14. 14

The teaching of topics such as self-awareness, self-control, self-esteem are better taught outside of schools.

  15. 15

Schools, Communities and Parents should partner in teaching areas that reflect emotional intelligence.

  20. 20

I deal with anger in ways that are destructive not constructive.

  21. 21

I believe lack of self-discipline on the part of students effects the learning of other students.

  22. 22

Teaching Emotional Intelligence would have little impact on the social culture of a school.

  23. 23

I believe controlling impulses and delaying gratification is very much overrated.

  24. 24

When another person tells me about an important event in their life, I almost feel as though I have experienced this event myself.
